Our Impact

GSF provides garden-based education to children at ten Title I elementary schools across Los Angeles. We take a holistic approach to teaching gardening, cooking, and environmental sustainability through our in-depth Seed to Table and Cafeteria to Compost programs, along with regular Community Garden Days and school-based free Farmers Markets. With our vibrant  school gardens as classrooms, and in close partnership with our school communities, we help to feed both the minds and the bodies of our students, building knowledge and enhancing wellness.
