We’re happy to announce Triple Chicken Foot will grace the stage of this year’s Garden School Foundation’s annual fundraiser Harvest Moon.

The “Old Time” Los Angeles, California base fiddle and banjo trio is comprise by Ben Guzman on fiddle/mandolin, Mike Heinle on banjo and Kelly Marie Martin on guitar. For over five years, they’ve played old time music at Los Angeles backyard BBQ’s, the 100th anniversary of a Danish Church, the Autry National Center, LACMA, weddings, Southern California music venues, and local NPR affiliate stations.

The band honors the traditional roots of this musical genre as an oral and community-based experience by hosting monthly jams, seasonal square dances, and producing the annual Los Angeles Old Time Social. Triple Chicken Foot was voted "Best Folk Band in LA" by the LA Weekly, 2011.

They have two full-length albums: Meeting in the Air (2006) and Tar River (2010), mixed by Joseph "joebass" DeJarnette in West Virginia. Both are available at CD Baby and bandcamp.
