Fiesta de la Huerta, 2015!

Every year, GSF invites our friends, families and community into the garden for our Fiesta de la Huerta, an inspiring celebration and show of gratitude for all that we've accomplished throughout the year. Our students and their families enjoyed engaging & educational garden stations, field games, arts & crafts, delicious food, live music and a raffle to wrap it all up! We are truly thankful for all our sponsors and volunteers who made this wonderful and heartwarming afternoon possible!

Face Painting was a big hit with the kids!

Volunteers from Thrive Market did a fun & nutritious smoothie workshop with our bike blender...

And parents and kids alike enjoyed digging in the dirt and planting seedlings!

And what would a great party be without live music? Many thanks to Mr.Rodarte and his talented middle school band for providing really wonderful music for everyone to enjoy.

The food, of course, was spectacular! Our guests were treated to some really delicious tacos, salad, cookies and more from our restaurant sponsors: Eveleigh, Salt’s Cure, El Cholo, Beyond MeatNative Foods Cafe, Auntie Em’s & Jennie Cooks Catering; and refreshing beverages by Califia Farms and Raw Cane Superjuice.
